What we collect
We collect only what you give us: your name, email address, company name, website address and message when you use our contact, free-audit or partner forms. Our web server records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. Form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes connection data to distinguish people from bots.
Why we process it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, produce the audit you requested, evaluate a partner application, and deliver our services under a contract with you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing email without your consent.
Service data
When we run SEO for a client we process site and search-performance data (Google Search Console metrics, page content, publishing accounts). We do not need or collect personal data of our clients' end users. See our Security & data access page and DPA.
Retention
Enquiries and partner applications: 24 months after last contact. Free-audit requests and the reports we generate for them: 12 months. Client account and contract records: 6 years after the contract ends (accounting and legal obligations). Server logs: 30 days.
Marketing
We do not send marketing email without your consent. Requesting a free audit gets you the audit report and a delivery confirmation — nothing else.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Who we share data with
We use a small set of service providers, each for a specific purpose:
- Cloudflare (United States) — DNS/CDN for this website and Turnstile bot protection on our forms; processes connection data of visitors.
- Anthropic (United States) — the AI engine behind audits and content drafts. It receives website URLs and public page content or metadata (for audits) and aggregated search-performance metrics (for client content). Form data such as names and email addresses is not sent to it.
- Google (United States) — read-only Search Console data for properties our clients connect. Nothing else: this website's fonts are self-hosted, so no visitor data reaches Google.
- Zernio — social-media scheduling for published content; it receives post text and images only; no personal data.
- Telegram — internal notifications to our own team, no personal data: alerts name only the audited domain.
Email is sent from our own self-hosted mail server — no third-party email provider. We do not use third-party analytics that profile visitors, and we do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Our servers are in the EU (Telepoint data centre, Sofia, Bulgaria), which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Where a provider processes data outside the UK/EEA (for example in the United States), we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or another safeguard permitted under UK GDPR. Google is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
